Brazil, the world’s second-largest iron ore exporter, has reported an increase in its iron ore (including pellets) export volumes in Aug’21. According to trade data released by Brazil customs, export volumes stood at 34.8 mn t in Aug, up 10% as against 31.7 mn t in Jul. The average price of iron ore exported from Brazil in Aug witnessed a marginal rise on a monthly basis to $163/t FoB Brazil.
