India: M&M’s ‘no production days’ to impact 25% of production in Sept’21

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (M&M) has announced ‘no production days’ for around seven days in its automotive division for Sept’21 as the company continues to face supply crunch of semiconductors. The seven ‘no production days’ are expected to reduce the company’s auto production volume by 20-25% this month. Dwelling on the new launches, Veejay Nakra, CEO, M&M, said: “August has been an exciting month with the unveiling of the much-anticipated XUV 700 and the all-new visual identity crafted exclusively for our SUV portfolio.”
