Sponge C-DRI (FeM 80%) prices in Karnataka’s Bellary moved up by INR 200/t on 1 Sept’21. Inline improvement in sponge P-DRI prices was also seen by INR 250/t in today’s trade.
Current offers for sponge C-DRI stand at INR 30,100/t ($412) and around 2,000 t of deals were reported by local manufacturers.
Meanwhile, about 1,000 t of P-DRI deals were confirmed at INR 28,400-28,500/t against offers at INR 28,600-28,700/t exw. Deals remained limited on higher offers as buyers had placed a sufficient number of bookings yesterday.
