CRC scrap prices witnessed a nominal hike of INR 200-300/t in specific regions such as north India, whereas prices in south India remained largely rangebound. In the western region, prices corrected slightly on 30 Aug’21. Prevailing CRC sheet cutting scrap offers are assessed at INR 39,200-39,600/t at Mandi Gobindhgarh, at INR 36,500-36,900/t in Chennai, and INR 37,500-38,000/t in Jalna, Maharashtra on a DAP basis, excluding GST, trade participants informed.
