Sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) prices in Raipur fell slightly by INR 100/t to INR 30,000/t exw on 26 Aug’21. Prices continue sliding down owing to low bids and price corrections in the billet market.
- Around 2,000 t of P-DRI deals were confirmed at around INR 30,000/t versus offers at INR 30,100-30,300/t on exw and FoR Raipur basis. Meanwhile, a few buyers claimed that they booked sponge P-DRI at INR 29,800/t, FoR Raipur. However, SteelMint could not confirm the deals before preparing this assessment.
- DR CLO grade sponge iron offers stand at INR 33,300-33,400/t; however, no major deals were reported, while bids through the buyers were around INR 33,000/t exw.
