India: South African RB2 coal prices elevated at Ennore for small parcels

In a confirmed deal, 3,000 t of South African RB2 (5500 NAR) grade coal was sold at INR 9,700/t at Ennore. Buyers are heard to making small purchases in anticipation of a price correction. Over the last two weeks, portside trade of South African coal has largely been limited to Krishnapatnam and Ennore ports in the southern region amid lower availability of RB2 coal at Mangalore port and lower number of vessel arrivals in the coming weeks.
