China’s steel mill inventories continue to rise in mid-Aug’21 – CISA

According to data from the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), in mid-Aug’21, the steel inventory of key steel companies stood at 14.9342 mn t, an increase of 312,200 t from the previous month, or 2.13%. Inventory has increased by 1.12 mn t from the end of the previous month, an increase of 8.11% compared with the beginning of the year. Steel inventory has moved up by 1.2 mn t over the same period last year, a rise of 8.81%.
