Leading Turkish steel mills such as Erdemir and Habas have reportedly lowered their HRC list prices by up to $70-90/t for Nov’21 shipments, sources informed SteelMint. The revised price stands at $980-1,010/t FoB compared with $1,070-1,080/t FoB a week ago, excluding VAT. Due to preference for cost-effective imported HRC, Turkish domestic prices have come under pressure.
