Chinese coal and coke futures have touched the ceiling following the municipal government of Bayan Nur ordering port Ganqimaodou to pause imports of coal for two weeks, as per latest reports. Until today, drivers arriving from Mongolia had to stop for COVID PCR tests. From today onwards imports of Mongolian coal have been suspended for two weeks.
