Indonesian high-CV 5800 GAR coal prices rose further by $5/t, w-o-w, to $123.5/t FoB, while prices of 6500 GAR coal increased by $3/t on week to $129.6/t FoB. Tight domestic supply in Indonesia amid rising Covid-19 cases continue pushing prices higher, as demand from Chinese power utilities remain strong. The prices of 4200 GAR and 5000 GAR grade coals inched up marginally to $72/t and $106/t respectively, while 3400 GAR coal was reportedly selling at $42/t.
