Prices of Indonesian 5100 GAR grade coal remained unchanged at INR 9,500/t ex-Vizag amid subdued trading activity over the last few weeks. Demand from the rolling mills, key consumers of this grade, continues to remain under pressure amid huge losses due to higher raw material prices and weak sales. Tight supply in Indonesia, and high vessel freight rates, are keeping importers away from making any major bookings.
