Central India-based Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd (GPIL) has received environment clearance (EC) for enhancing iron ore production capacity. The company is ramping up iron ore mining capacity from 1.405 mn t to 2.35 mn t/year in Chhattisgarh’s Baster district, as per latest reports.
