In a confirmed deal, 10,000 t of South African RB2 (5500 NAR) grade coal was sold at INR 9,400/t ex-Vizag today. With only a few importers having RB2 stocks at major Indian ports, traders expect portside prices to remain elevated. Bids for RB3 (4800 NAR) grade coal were heard at INR 8,100/t at Vizag. However, sellers are pitching for higher prices, market participants informed.
