South Korea: Finished flat steel exports up 1% m-o-m in Jul’21

South Korea’s finished flat steel exports stood at 1.775 mn t in Jul’21, a marginal rise of 1% month-on-month compared with 1.755 mn t a month ago, as per customs data maintained with SteelMint.

Product-wise exports:

• HRC/plate exports stood at 575,541 t, down 9% m-o-m as against 631,292 t last month.
• CRC exports rose 5% m-o-m to 310,802 t compared to 295,113 t in the previous month.
• S. Korea’s major export destinations were China, Japan and the US.
