China: Domestic billet prices continue to hold stable

Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable for the second consecutive day at RMB 5,110/t ($846/t) including 13% VAT on 13 Aug’21. Overall billet transactions remained weak, SteelMint notes. China’s re-bar futures for Jan’22 delivery stood at RMB 5,482/t ($846/t) today, up RMB 40/t ($6/t) d-o-d.
