India: IDCOL floats Tender for Sale of Iron Ore

Industrial Development Corporation of Odisha Limited (IDCOL), a state government entity, floats tender for sale of Iron ore CLO (Fe 65 %) from its Roida ‘C’ Iron & Manganese mine at Roida, Keonjhar, Odisha.

IDCOL is not bound to accept the H1 price. It reserves its right to negotiate with the highest bidder (H1), if required.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Traders and lease holders  are not allowed to participate
  • Bidders must be registered for CST, VAT and must have Traders Identification Number (TIN)
  • Bidders should be the owner of  Sponge iron /Pig iron /Steel plant and shall use the ore for manufacturing of Sponge iron/ Pig iron/ Steel at their own plant

Quantity: 7,600 MT
Above mentioned quantity is tentative; it may increase/decrease to max 10%, depending on the site condition, logistics and availability of material

Delivery: By trucks /tippers from the mines

Delivery Period: 60 days

Loading & Transportation: By Road

  • Bid submission due date: 11.00 hrs IST on 19 May, 2014
  • Bid opening date: 12.00 hrs IST on 19 May, 2014

“Bidders have to quote for the entire quantity.” 

Corrigendum for IDCOL Tender 

  • The last date of submission of bids for sale of 28,000 MT & 25,000 MT Iron ore fines has been changed from 08 May, 2014 to 19 May, 2014
  • Bidders can now quote for minimum quantity of 10,000 MT
