India: Prakash Industries to ramp up captive iron ore production

Central India-based steel producer, Prakash Industries Ltd., has released Q1FY’22 results. Highlights:

• Total iron ore mined from the Sirkaguttu mines in Odisha stands at 0.18 mn t.
• The company has achieved quarterly steel sales of 0.24 mn t, registering a growth of 38% y-o-y.
• The company plans to enhance production capacity further in the coming quarters.
