South African iron ore lump import offers into India have decreased, tracking the slide in global iron ore prices, as per SteelMint reports. The current assessment for imported lump (Fe 65%) stands at around $220/t CNF Kandla, down by $15 w-o-w. Meanwhile, benchmark global iron ore fines (Fe 62%) prices have decreased by $15/t w-o-w to $183/t CNF China on 5 Aug’21 on dull demand amid steel production cuts in China.
