South African RB2 (5500 NAR) grade coal offers rose by INR 400/t w-o-w to INR 8,700/t ex-Gopalpur today due to lower stocks at ports and elevated RB1 prices. While trading activities at ports were heard to have picked up as against the last few weeks, they are yet to gather steam, market participants informed. RB2 coal offers at Gangavaram and Vizag ports remain firm at INR 8,800/t.
