Manganese Ore India Ltd. (MOIL) conducted an e-auction for 1,100 t of high-carbon (HC) ferro manganese of different grades (63-72%) on 29 Jul’21 from its Balaghat Plant.
- One lot of 1,000t of HC ferromanganese (70-72%) was booked at INR 93,100/t.
- Another lot of 68% grade was booked at the floor price of INR 90,300/t.
MOIL reduced the floor price by 4.7% for 70-72% grade compared with the previous auction in line with low demand for manganese alloys in the domestic market.
