In harmony with the Centre’s ‘Look East’ policy geared towards facilitating the development of the North-East, PSU steelmaker Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL) has opened a new stockyard in Guwahati. The stockyard will make quality steel products churned out by RINL’s Vizag Steel Plant (VSP) available to buyers in the North-East. The first rake, loaded with VSP’s steel products, arrived at the yard on 26 Jul’21 and handed over to Larsen & Toubro ECC Group, as per latest reports.
