Raipur-based major TMT brands such as GK TMT have raised prices by INR 600/t to INR 48,000/t exw. Also, GOEL TMT has hiked prices by INR 700/t to INR 48,300/t exw. These prices are for rebar Fe-500D and for 10-25 mm in size, excluding GST. Rising prices of raw materials have led to a rally in rebar prices in the region, while demand remains moderate. Sources expect near-term rebar prices to remain strong owing to higher raw material costs.
