Emirates Steel, the UAE’s leading steel mill, has lowered rebar offers for the second consecutive month by $15/t for Aug’21 sales due to lack of demand. As per sources, revised offers for rebar stand at $805/t exw, down from $820/t exw in Jul. Emirates Steel is a leading producer of rebar in the Middle East with annual production of around 2 mn t.
