A major Indian steel mill is reported to have concluded a rebar (BF route) export shipment scheduled for Sept’21. The deal has been concluded at $740/t CFR Hong Kong on AW basis, as per market sources. Following this deal, Indian rebar export prices have risen by $5/t w-o-w, as per SteelMint reports. Steel exports by India were recorded at 2 mn t in Jun’21, as per latest reports. Flat steel exports by India were at 1.25 mn t, while long steel products exports were at 0.25 mn t.
