Induction furnace grade rebar prices observed minor changes across markets on 26 Jul’21, SteelMint assessment shows. However, prices remained supported in Maharashtra owing to higher raw material costs (melting scrap) and improved transactions in TMT, while in other markets strengthening semi-finished steel prices supported manufacturers to adjust prices even if slightly despite lack of trade. Going forward, daily prices would depend on steel billet price movements, SteelMint notes.
