Steel melting scrap prices witnessed a marginal rise of INR 500/t in Maharashtra owing to strong raw steel prices amid supply shortage on account of tardy logistical operations, as per reports. Other markets in the country witnessed positive trends except Chennai. The near-term outlook is positive, trader sources reported.
