Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan rose by RMB 40/t ($6/t) on 26 Jul’21. Domestic billet prices are at RMB 5,240/t ($808/t), inclusive of 13% VAT. According to data maintained with SteelMint, the Chinese rebar futures contract for Oct delivery closed at RMB 5,687/t ($877/t) today, up RMB 16/t ($2/t) against 23 Jul.
