Australian premium hard coking coal prices increased by $0.50/t to $210.50/t FoB on firm demand in the ex-China market, coupled with limited spot availability of premium cargoes with Aug’21 laycan. Apart from Asian end-users, European buyers too are showing active interest for relatively cheaper Australian material, as against US and Canadian coking coal.
