Indonesian 4,200 GAR coal sold at a premium of $1.5/t

Amid supply crunch and elevated demand, Indonesian 4,200 GAR grade coal was sold at a premium of $1.5/t above the index price of $63.6/t, on FoB basis, for Aug’21 loading cargo, as per CoalMint reports. In another domestic portside trade for 4,200 GAR coal, about 10,000 t was sold at INR 6,400/t ex-Tuticorin. Offers for 5,100 GAR coal are currently heard at INR 8,800/t ex-Vizag. Prices exclude cess and GST.
