Odisha: DDM stops Iron Ore loading to Paradip Citing Traffic Congestion

Deputy Director of Mines (DDM) of Joda, Odisha has ordered to stop loading iron ore plying to Paradip port (NH 5-A) due to road accident which has caused huge traffic congestion. In a letter (attached) issued by DDM office on 5th October 2013 states that loading of iron ore to Paradip port will not be allowed till 10th of October 2013.

However this will not impact exports of iron ore from India to a great extent, trade sources mention.
