SteelMint’s benchmark sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) prices fell by INR 100/t to INR 29,000/t exw Raipur on 13 Jul’21. Prices dropped following limited bids as well as a drop in billet prices by INR 400/t d-o-d.
- A few P-DRI deals were reported at INR 28,900-29,000/t as against offers at INR 29,200-300/t exw and FoR Raipur.
- Inline DR CLO grade sponge iron offers were floated at around INR 31,500/t exw. However, no interest was shown by buyers, as per sources.
