Sponge C-DRI (FeM 80%) prices in Karnataka’s Bellary inched up by INR 200/t on 8 Jul’21. However, sponge P-DRI prices continued to stay flat in today’s trade.
- Current C-DRI offers are at INR 28,200/t ($374). Around 1,800 t of C-DRI deals have been reported by local manufacturers. Limited deals were heard today with buyers having already had placed sufficient orders yesterday.
- About 2,100 t of P-DRI deals were confirmed at INR 27,000-27,200/t against offers at INR 27,300/t exw.
- Sponge iron prices will hinge on iron ore and coal prices.
