India: Disparity prevails in South African portside coal prices

Despite an elevated index, Indian buyers are not ready to accept higher offers for South African RB2 (5,500 NAR) grade coal. Subsequently, in a bid to liquidate stocks, a few traders have sold material at Vizag port at INR 7,800/t. At nearby Gangavaram port, trades were heard concluded at around INR 8,000/t.
