SAIL conducted an auction for 1,100 t of silico manganese (0-3mm and 3-10mm of grade 56/16) from its Chandrapur Ferro Alloy Plant in Maharashtra on 2 Jul’21. Out of the total quantity on offer, 200 t (0-3mm) was booked at INR 65,000/t, while 300 t of 3-10mm material was booked at INR 83,400/t exw, as per data maintained with SteelMint. Bid prices for 3-10mm silico manganese decreased by 2,900/t ($38) exw.
