State-owned Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) has scheduled an auction on 2 Jul’21 for 1,100 t (0-3mm and 3-10mm) of silico manganese from its Chandrapur Ferro Alloy Plant in Maharashtra. The previous auction from the plant on 25 Jun closed without results. The auction prior to that, conducted on 15 Jun for 800 t of 3-10mm material, saw buyers booking 600 t at INR 86,300/t, exw, as per data maintained with SteelMint. Bid prices for 3-10mm material had increased by 8,500/t ($115), exw.
