State-owned MOIL conducted an e-auction on 29 Jun’21 for 1,100 t of high-carbon (HC) ferro manganese of different grades (63-72%) from its Balaghat plant. As per SteelMint reports, one lot of 1,000 t of ferro manganese (70-72%) was booked at INR 99,800/t, 2.25% higher than the floor price. Robust demand and tight supply resulted in a good response from buyers at the auction. SteelMint assesses ferro manganese (HC 70%) at INR 104,000/t, ex-Raipur.
