SAIL conducted an auction for 3,000 t of basic grade pig iron on 25 Jun’21 from its Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) in Odisha. The entire quantity was booked at INR 37,200/t, exw, sources informed SteelMint. Bid prices decreased by INR 450/t ($6) compared to the previous auction on 22 May which was concluded at a weighted average price of INR 37,650/t, exw. The next RSP pig iron auction for 3,000 t is scheduled on 1 Jul.
