The European Commission will conduct a probe into dumping of certain corrosion-resistant steel products by countries that are not members of the European Union, which happens to be causing damage to the EU steel industry, SteelMint learnt from a public notice issued by the Commission. The Commission has launched a proceeding following a complaint received on 12 May’21 regarding dumping of flat-rolled galvanised steel products by Russia and Turkey, which is impacting sales and prices of such products in the common EU market, as per latest reports.
