India: Gajkesari Steels and Alloys installs new 30 t induction furnace

Jalna, Maharashtra-based Gajkesari Steels and Alloys Pvt Ltd., a well-known rebar producer marketing the brand Gajkesari TMT, has installed a new 30 t induction furnace, as per latest SteelMint reports. After the capacity upgrade, the steel producer has two induction furnaces – each with capacity of 30 t. That apart, the company’s rolling capacity stands at around 750 tonnes per day (tpd), officials informed. Currently, the steel producer is offering rebar (10-25 mm) at INR 47,500/t exw.
