India: Domestic mill scale prices move up in recent deals

Domestic mill scale prices in India have increased this week by up to INR 400/t w-o-w, tracking a hike in iron ore prices.

• The current assessment for mill scale (Fe 70/68%) stands at INR 8,000-8,200/t, exw Raipur. Confirmed deals of 2,700 t of mill scale were recorded by SteelMint at INR 8,100-8,150/t, exw-Raipur.
• The current assessment for the domestic mill scale stands at INR 7,400-7,600/t, DAP Kandla. A recent deal reported for 1,200 t material was heard concluded at INR 7,400/t, DAP Kandla.
