Australian premium hard coking coal (HCC) prices increased by $1.50/t to $177.50/t, FoB, on 19 Jun’21 on healthy demand and concerns over supply tightness. The long-awaited buy tender, issued early last week, for 80,000 t of Australian premium mid-volatile HCC, with end-Jul’21 laycan, was concluded at $180/t, FoB Australia, on 18 Jun.
