Indonesian thermal coal price for 4000 GAR rose by $3.3/t to $61.8/t, on FoB basis, on 18 Jun’21, as Chinese traders raised purchases after government authorities stalled coal production at several mines in the country and relaxed June import quotas. Prevailing tight supply and lower spot cargo availability from Indonesia are supporting prices, CoalMint notes.
