Downward trend already ingest the steel market. Sustaining this downward trend South market come down by Rs 300-500/t.
In Hyderabad TMT prices come down by Rs 300/t form previous trade due to weak sale. 20 mm re-bar is trading at Rs 32,500/t (Basic). In line with Bangalore TMT prices fell by Rs 500/t. 12 mm TMT traded at Rs 34,800/t (Basic). After this some of the manufacturers are offering Rs 300-500/t discount due to financial crisis.
In central region re-bar prices are range bound and fluctuating in the range of Rs 100-200/t primarily due to volatility in ingot/billet prices. Raipur 20 mm TMT is being traded at Rs 31,500-600/t (Basic).
