South Korea: Pipes and tubes exports down 6% in May

The world’s fourth-largest steel producer South Korea has recorded de-growth of 6% m-o-m in pipes and tubes exports in May ’21. Exports totalled 134,492 t compared to 142,555 t in Apr, as per customs data compiled by SteelMint. However, on an annual basis, exports shot up 16% against 116,292 t in the year-ago month. On the other hand, total imports by South Korea stood at 38,032 t in May, down 19% m-o-m.
