Melting scrap prices saw a minor fluctuation on 15 Jun’21 in the country, with prices rising marginally by INR 100-200/t in Ludhiana and Chennai owing to supply constraints. Prices also fell in some locations of western and northern India by up to INR 100-500/t owing to dull finished steel movement. Melting scrap prices are likely to see changes day-on-day, trader sources reported to SteelMint.
