Indonesia: Billet imports fall by 48% m-o-m in Apr ’21

Steel billet imports by Indonesia in Apr ’21 dropped 48% m-o-m to 0.27 mn t, as per customs data compiled by SteelMint. India, Russia, Oman, the United Arab Emirates and Malaysia ranked as the predominant exporters. The fall in Indonesian billet imports can be attributed to decreased supply from India and Oman.
