SAIL conducted an auction for 8,650 t of basic grade pig iron on 10 Jun’21 from its Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) in Chhattisgarh. The entire quantity offered was booked at a weighted average price of INR 38,350/t, exw, sources informed SteelMint. Bids increased by INR 450/t ($6) compared to the previous auction on 31 May, which was concluded at a weighted average price of INR 37,900/t, exw.
