Iron ore exports from Australia’s Port Hedland stood at 48 mn t in May’21, increasing by 6.4% m-o-m compared to 45.1 mn t in Apr. Throughput remains stable year-on-year, as per reports. The total monthly throughput from Port Hedland was at 48.4 mn t in May’21, up 5.6% m-o-m. Port Hedland is one of three main ports of the Pilbara Ports Authority. The other two are Port Ashburton and Port of Dampier.
