Tata Steel subsidiary Tata Steel Mining Ltd (TSML) is set to acquire Rohit Ferro-tech under India’s bankruptcy law, as per SteelMint reports. Following the acquisition, TSML’s ferrochrome capacity is projected to expand to 552,350 t from the existing 450,000 t. Tata Steel is the largest chrome ore and ferrochrome producer in India.
