Welspun Corp Limited has been granted a license by the American Petroleum Institute to manufacture SAWH pipes as per API Specification 5L and to apply API monogram on the pipes from its production facility in Madhya Pradesh’s Jamunia village from 26 May ’21. The coated API pipes will cater to the Indian oil and gas sector. The company has a modern 3LPE/DFBE/FBE coating facility attached to the pipe mill. WCL intends to supply pipes for development of oil and gas pipelines in India’s east and north-east as well as south India.
